Smaller than claimed. actual cooking surface is 13.5 by 9.5 inches by .75 inch deep. Overall length is 16.5 including the handles and overall height is 1.5 inches. Claimed Product Dimensions: 17 x 10 x 2 inches. For those thinking this would cover their cooktop's bridged double burners based on the claimed dimensions, it will likely fall short.

What makes it unusable is that the bottom is not flat; one fourth of it is lower than other areas so it teeters and clanks back and forth on a flat cooktop. It will be returned and I'll just pony up for the Le Cruset double burner grill not available on Amazon.com.

Excellent quality, love it. Very heavy. A little smaller than expected but worked out fine. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quality griddle!
