Charcoal Companion 13-Inch Nonstick Grilling Kabob Skewers, Set of 6

These skewers are flat, non-stick, and have a sharp point on the end for piercing the food. Because they are flat, foods don't roll around on the skewer. The non-stick coating makes it easy to remove the cooked food, and cleanup is easy. These fit nicely laying flat in the dishwasher, and I don't have to scrub food residue off of them. Compared to my last set of stainless skewers, these are a great step up.

I bought these for my husband who is getting into Grillin' and Chillin'. They work great. They are long enough to fit all the goodies that should go onto shish-kabobs, and they are flat, so what you put on them won't twirl around. Clean up is a snap.

The charcoal skewers are much better than soaking wood skewers to grill with. My wood skewers always seemed to burn on the ends. I like the circle on the non stick skewers they make a good little handle to grab. The design keeps your food from spinning around on the skewer like what happens when you have round skewers. If I need more I will reorder this type of skewer.

I'm only giving 4 stars to this product becasue I have yet to find truly non-stick kabob skewers. They are dishwasher-safe; however, they do not always come clean after a dishwasher cycle. I usually have to soak them overnight in a tall glass of soapy water and then run though the dishwasher the next day. For the price, they are good; however, I can see after heavy summer-grilling use, I will have to buy new next year.

Would have preferred if it had wooden handles so that way you can easily handle it when it best hot, other than that no complaints.
