It's a good unit. Just don't overheat it. Don't turn the burner on high for very long. Use a plastic spatula to avoid scratches and it should last a long time. See the customer photos I posted to see exactly what you get.

This griddle is made of very thinly pressed metal.

It works great for sandwiches but make sure you do not take it from the hot stove to the sink the water will warp the metal.
