Nordic Ware 365 Indoor/Outdoor Beer Can Marinade Chicken Roaster

Have been wanting to try some beer-can chicken and found this product. I seen on YouTube that you don't need anything and the can can hold it up however... having this Beer-can Roaster makes it very easy and worry free in terms of it falling over. Just bought one for my parents and now going to buy another one so I can cook 2 chickens. No regrets with this item and made it easy for me to get into making beer-can chicken

NORDIC WARES 365 INDOOR/OUTDOOR BEER CAN MARINADE CHICKEN ROASTER is well made and should hold any chicken upright well, for beer can roasting. BUT, I tried using it in Weber's 22.5" Gold grill and the grill, top inside of the lid to the surface of the wire rack isn't deep enough to hold the chicken and close. The grill top itself rests on and slides off any chicken sitting on the Nordic Ware 365 roaster. BUMMER, and, I believe it may well be the same for any beer can roaster I might purchase for use in the Weber Grill. I'll shop a little to try another. Otherwise I'm sure this product should do the job its advertised to do. RSBlain

I ended up returning this it to Amazon. The center well for holding liquids was not a stand alone vessel. I did not want to have to use beer cans again to roast a chicken.
