We bought this for a Christmas gift for my in laws. The only complaint we've heard, and let me state that it may be user "error".....is she can't regulate the heat correctly. This is an upgrade from an older George Foreman grill, so it may be that they're not used to the digital readings.

I just got mine and I thought I was buying new and will have to inquire that later, but so far I've noticed it's wobbly (the plates and the back hinges) which could be that way to accommodate different thicknesses of meats and things, however there's a knick on the side of the red top area and the front black strip with the buttons makes me think it was used and returned because the buttons are different...meaning, the one to the left is not set as well as the one on the right. It appears used and I paid a lot for mine. I haven't the time or energy to take and return it etc. but I might if it doesn't work well. Plus I'll check more into the wobbly issues too. So far I'm disappointed in the initial condition, plus the product box was all dinged up (I noticed this right away when I opened the outer Amazon shipping box).
