I haven't let it change my rating, but it was pretty painful that it took five shipments to actually receive the right product, in an undamaged condition. The first three times, starting before Christmas, I received a Chasseur Pannini pan instead, and then when they finally shipped the right grill it was broken through its package, badly chipped, and had to be returned. Even this one's package was broken open, but fortunately the product was undamaged. Heavy, expensive products should receive a bit more packaging than just the manufacturer's store box.Okay, now to the product review. I have an induction cooktop and this works great on it. It heats up evenly over two induction hobs with the bridge unit in between. The Lodge two-sided grill/griddle wouldn't work on the induction grill (the edges are too high), but this one does. It is a very heavy duty cast iron grill with a nice chili red colored enamel finish. It gets really hot, so do as the instructions say and start with low heat and raise it over time. It's not perfectly flat, but works fine and it has really nicely deep grill ribs. The only reason I dropped it down one star is because it is expensive, almost $100 when I purchased it. The Lodge grill/griddle is less than half the price, although not enameled on the bottom side.
