Don't pass these by for that reason. All you need to do is turn over your fancy cuisinart pots and look at the bottom....yes....those are made in china too!

For the bucks you spend, these are nice quality tri-ply cookware. I actual favor the ergonomic handle design on these Bodeux over the classic cuisinart handles. These have polished insides with rounded corners (makes stirring easier). The 2 non-stick frying pans in this set make it a nice nice starter set for any fussy cook.

purchased Bodeux France about 1 year ago. Worked great for about 6 months, then food such as oatmeal or pasta started sticking in the pot. Works okay with lots of water, such as veggies or potatoes. I know pasta has lots of water, but a few noodles always seem to stay stuck on the bottom or sides of the pot. I will continue to use these because they are not cheap, but I would never buy Bodeau France again.

i received my set 3 days after placing an order. all the way to canada eh ! all was fine in the box. made in China, and the quality is fine.the handles are the big draw. they fit so well in the hand.

Another trick by the Chinese to make you think you're buying a quality product made in France. Guess again....It's made in China! And they don't put that anywhere on the tags or on the pot. That just not right. I wouldn't even give them one star.
