This are great skewers. They are strong, long, & heavy duty. You wouldn't loose food off of these skewers. They are definitely used for bigger chunks of food.... they don't bend, I just throw them in the dishwasher. They are great. You must remember to use an oven mitt to take them off the grill because they get really hot. They are definitely worth the money.
