I purchased this set of spatulas for outdoor grilling. They are an excellent value and work very well. I would recommend hand washing since the handles are wood, but that isn't any fault of the product.PROS -
1. Good length. When you're working over a very hot grill, it's nice to have your hands out of the way. These do the job.
2. Good quality stainless. I've run these through the dishwasher and they don't start to spot or corrode. Not all stainless is equal, but these appear to be a good grade.
3. Brass rivets on the handles. These should be durable.
CONS -
1. A little flimsy. As mentioned, the stainless is good quality, but it's a little thin. It also means you get a lot of flex, so flipping larger or heavier items might require assistance with the other spatula or a set of tongs.
2. The handles don't feel firmly attached. Nothing has fallen off yet or anything, but the handles don't feel like they're firmly sandwiching the shank.I over looked the handle part on other reviews but they were right it gets lose after it gets wet from wash, seems that the wood shrinks which makes it lose.It is nice to bigger spatulas for some of the things you cook. and these are great, especially when you grilling outside or just cooking in general. I highly recommend them.metal flexes a lot...wood on handle is loose and wiggles when used.Size is just right to flip burgers and food in my tepanyaki griddle. Will keep on using and see how it will last. Its a great professonal Grill Spatula for flipping 2 burgers at a time just like the pros do at Burger King or at McDonalds. You can easy flip 2 burgers at a time on your grill. Its also great when making philly cheese steak subs.
