Sunshine Makers 60014 Simple Green BBQ Grill And Microwave Cleaner

This is the most useless product I have ever tried to use. I followed the directions and after 15 minutes tried to clean a test spot... nothing had happened. I sprayed more on and waited 45 minutes. NOTHING! It didn't even dissolve a little of the surface grease, much less the burned on parts. After washing everything down with a scrubber and hot water, I was back where I started. Everyday dish-washing liquid would have cleaned better.

I went in and got the old stand-by, Easy Off Oven cleaner, and 1/2 hour later the grill looked like new. Don't waste your time or your money on the Simple Green.

i bought this product because the home depot guy said it sells well.......Well, it sucks!!!!! i left on for 3 hours....doesnt clean.

the only reason why i can think of why it sells well is because its "suppose to be good for the enviroment". im very disappointed...

it was a total waste of $6.00. some things can not replace good old fashion chemicals.

I don't know what the previous reviewer was 'smoking'... (on their grill) ha, ha !

I have a TEC grill, with lots of stainless steel It hadn't been well cleaned for a couple of years Since whomever I paid to clean it last time, didn't put foil inside the grease trap drawer, I decided to do it myself (which is a big deal, since I'm lazy)

I tried a couple of 'standard', typical stainless & grill cleaners that were really not very effective I thought the grease was just old & super 'stuck on there', & would just pay someone to do it again-

While picking up some stuff at the hardware store, I notice this cleaner & decided, 'what the heck, I'll give it a shot' In general, I've unfortunately found many 'green' or 'natural' cleaners, don't work that well, so I didn't have high hopes I would much prefer to use environmentally friendly products, though the stuff needs to work too-

I'm a little weird, I really try tons of products, of all sorts to see if they work, and even after I find ones I like, I'll still want to see what else there is If possible, I prefer to have and work w/ only the best Better to spend more (if necessary) & have a more efficient/longer lasting product (IMHO)-

This stuff is very foamy (after you shake it up) (maybe the other reviewer didn't ?) I sprayed it on the outside & shelves & it surprised me in getting most stuff off, after one application OK, cool ! Now for the real test !

I pulled out the grease drawer (which was really caked), which I had already tried to clean w/ other stuff before as mentioned I sprayed the stuff fairly thick over the entire surface, then waited 10 or 15 minutes Holy guacamole ! It 'melted' a huge portion of the grease build up on the first pass !

Had to do a few applications, however it completely got all the grease off ! I was pretty surprised-

Now we're talking grease build up on stainless steel components, not on grill surfaces (since I replaced the grill surfaces this time too), however this stuff works so well, I'm sure it will be great elsewhere too-
