Broil King 69815 Pizza Stone Grill Set

I purchased this product because I expected great quality from Broil King. However, the pizza peel is made of low grade wood, and the handle proceeds to fall off during normal use. The stone itself is fine, but the thermometer on the fixture is not able to withstand the temperature it can display and breaks.

With some improvising, the product does what it's supposed to, hence the two stars, but it's a poor quality product.

Just used this for a "large" papa murphy's take-and-bake pizza. "large" is their sizing for their 14" pizza. The stone is just barely big enough. This worke very well and gave me the crispy crust I was looking for.

Overall a nice and handy purchase.

The stone holder and peel are solidly made.

Again, the stone is about 13 1/2", and the stand elevates it off the grill surface so need to have an appropriate pizza size.

Read the reviews before buying this pizza stone. Not sure what the two negative reviews are about? The stone and holder are heavy and solid when assembled. The metal stone holder keeps the stone above the grate and allows the hot air to circulate efficiently. The handles are a bit oversized for easy use with oven mitts. The stone heated up properly and evenly. The thermometer was accurate and really helpful! Nothing was poorly made or broke as another review stated. Maybe theirs was an earlier model? The pizza peel assembled was very solid as well. Built with a lip underneath so that it rests flat making pizza assembly easy. The peel was as big as the stone. The peel even comes apart for easy storage.

The pizza stone fit exactly into my large Ducane gas grill with not an inch to spare, so not sure how one reviewer could "make a bigger pizza" when the size of your pizza will be limited to the size of your grill and the stone. I made pizzas with fresh dough. When I have done this at high heat on a stone in the oven the pizza took 20 minutes to cook. On the grill it took ten! Amazing and delicious. I used hickory chips in a smoker box on my gas grill. Seriously good pizza!

This Product is awesome! We love it and make multiple pizza's when we use it since they are cook in a few minutes. Only thing is that i wish the wood pizza spatula was bigger so i can make a bigger pizza. Other than that is perfect.
